It’s back for a limited time!
We have 12 Lifetime Memberships available for the first half of 2026. These memberships are intentionally limited to ensure long-term sustainability while recognizing those who want to make a lasting commitment to Virginia Off-Road.
A Lifetime Membership means you never have to renew again, while directly supporting trail stewardship, education programs, volunteer coordination, and access preservation across the Commonwealth. These memberships help fund everything from trail cleanups and safety initiatives to new digital tools and mapping resources that benefit the entire off-road community.
Once these 14 spots are filled, no additional Lifetime Memberships will be released until later in the year. Availability is first-come, first-served.

Frequently asked questions
At Virginia Off Road, 100% of your donation goes directly toward supporting our core mission: protecting trail access, promoting off-road safety and ethics, and building a strong off-road community across Virginia. Your contribution helps fund hands-on education programs, trail ride events, volunteer clean-ups, our upcoming member portal, and the development of digital resources like trail badges and safety courses.
We operate lean and transparently as a nonprofit, ensuring every dollar makes a real impact on keeping Virginia’s off-road culture alive, accessible, and responsibly enjoyed. You can view our stats and see for yourself!
Nope, we’re not a Facebook group or a local group of guys just wanting to hang out, we’re much more.
Virginia Off Road is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, which means we rely entirely on public funding through donations to operate. Donations made to our organization are generally tax-deductible, though we recommend consulting a tax professional for guidance on how this applies to your individual situation.
It’s important to note that not all organizations in the off-road or recreation space are 501(c)(3)s. Some are classified as 501(c)(7) social or recreational clubs. These are typically funded by membership dues, and contributions made to them are not tax-deductible.
Yup!
You’re always in control of your support—there’s no commitment, and you can cancel at any time. If you ever decide to stop your monthly donation, just send us a quick email at joshua@vaoffroad.org, and we’ll take care of it promptly with no questions asked. We’re grateful for every bit of support, no matter how long it lasts.
Great question!
Donating members at $2 a month will get the general member vinyl badge and they can purchase trail badges in the Trail Badge Shop.
Donating members at $5 a month will also get the vinyl general member badge, be able to purchase the physical badge and they will earn FREE Trail badges as they complete them.
Lifetime members get both a vinyl and physical badge and they will earn FREE Trail badges as they complete them.
You can support us by donating your time!
We have a volunteer page where you can join us for various things that we do, from cleaning up the trails and making sure they are in great shape fo rall to enjoy, to leading various trail meetups we do, heading up coffee and dinner gatherings, working with our Vet program, Trail to Recovery or something different, we would be happy to have you help us!
You can also join us for free by using coupon code GIVEME at this link. Although, without donor support, we won’t be able to do very much.
Sure, we actually have a FAQs webpage, you can click that below or email us with any questions.
