Off-Road Park Stages

We’ve put together some informaiton to help you better understand the Off-Road Park and the stages of development.

Project Study

We took 3 months to develop an off-road park study. This included surveys from off-roaders, possible funding and locations on where the park(s) should be.

Project Study Results

We found that the first off-road park should be somewhere in South western Virginia. This is due to land being cheaper in that area, far less restictions and the ability for counties to work with us instead of against us in developing a park for off roading.

Fundraising Kickoff

We kicked off the fundraising portion of the project by launching the fundraiser. Depending on the communities level of wanting to make it happen, it could take a few months to a couple of years.

Funsraising Matching

At the same time of the fundraising kickoff, we will be looking to obtain corporate donations to help match, as well as any grants that may be available for the project.

Land Purchase

We will be looking to get 20-30+ acres of land in order to build the off road park. We will also hire a designer to help us plan out the park design.

Park Construction

Yup, we’ll need someone to help us actually build the park with excavating equipment and the like, depsning on that members want. We may include things like a picnic area of campsites depending on the funds we have with the project.

Park Signage

We also plan to have signage throughout the park with obstailce names (chosen by donors or members) as well as a maintained locked gate with signage too.

Park Opening

And we will open the park to paid members. Once it opens, we will need to maintain the park and have ongoing fees like personal property taxes for example. Free members will not have access to the park.
