Every once in a while, you find something that lights a fire in your soul — a mission that you can’t ignore. For me, that mission is Virginia Off-Road.
As the founder and director of this organization, I’ve poured thousands of hours into building something that’s more than just a group of off-roaders — it’s a family, a support system, and a movement.
We’re not here for social media fame or just to conquer trails.
We’re here to serve, to educate, and to protect. Whether it’s our Trail to Recovery program for veterans, our off-road education initiatives, our trail cleanups, or our efforts to unite off-roaders across Virginia in a positive way — this organization means everything to me.

That’s why today, I’m putting more than my time and energy on the line.
I’m pledging to personally give $300 a month for the next six months to help fuel our mission.
Why? Because I believe in it.
I believe in the power of community. I believe that the 4WD and off-road world deserves a space where people are welcomed, taught, supported, and inspired to leave the outdoors better than they found it.
And I believe that if I’m going to ask others to give, I need to lead by example.
This isn’t about a tax write-off or a feel-good headline. It’s about passion. It’s about doing something real for the off-road community that has given so many of us purpose, peace, and friendships that last a lifetime.
But I also know that I can’t do it alone.
So, I’m inviting you — whether you’re a longtime member or someone who just found us — to consider making a monthly donation. Even $5 a month makes a difference. It’s less than a coffee or a meal out, but when multiplied by a few dozen or a few hundred people, it becomes fuel for trail repairs, veteran events, educational outreach, cleanup gear, and so much more.

Without support from the community, our ability to expand these programs will be limited.
We want to do more — more trail days, more events for veterans, more beginner-friendly rides, more trail guides, more educational programs, more camps, more cleanups. But these things require funding, and right now, we’re depending entirely on those who see the vision and are willing to invest in it.
So here’s my ask to you:
👉 If you believe in what we’re doing — join me.
👉 If you’ve benefited from VA Off-Road, or believe in supporting veterans, or want to keep public trails open and clean — join me.
👉 If off-roading is part of your life and you want to ensure it has a future in Virginia — join me.

Together, we can build something bigger than just a Facebook group or a weekend ride. We can build a legacy.
Let’s do this — one donation, one trail, one vet, one volunteer at a time.
With gratitude and passion,
Joshua Gabrielson
