Directions from I-81

From the West side of Cumberland (via Route 60):

  1. Exit I-81 onto VA-60 heading toward Cumberland.
  2. At Cumberland, turn left onto Forest View Road (VA-628).
  3. Follow for about 3 miles to the intersection with Oak Hill Road (VA-629).
  4. The State Forest Office entrance will be directly across the road, with the Coffey Trail parking lot on your right

From the East side of Cumberland (via Route 60):

  1. Exit I-81 and take VA-60 toward Cumberland.
  2. Turn right onto Trent’s Mill Road (VA-622).
  3. Drive 3 miles, then turn left onto Oak Hill Road (VA-629).
  4. Continue 1.7 miles to reach the State Forest Office entrance and Coffey Trail parking
