about us
We started this adventure…
because many people that get trucks or SUV’s in Virginia often want to take their rigs off road but don’t know where to start.
“Virginia Off-Road is dedicated to educating and empowering the off-road community by promoting responsible trail use, proper off-road etiquette, and environmental stewardship. Our mission is to welcome and support newcomers, protect and maintain our trails, and collaborate with reputable organizations that share our passion for preserving off-road adventures for future generations.“

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that operates with the mission to educate off-roaders, help keeping our trails clean and offer safety practices with off-roading.

Education
We offer our blog filled with great information and insights into the world of off-roading. We post just about every week, form off road rigs, to learning and much more.

Trail Maps
With pages on each trail, we want to provide maps, great starting and end points, plus images, video clips and quirks on the trails from real people just tlike you!

TrailMaster Certification
Our TrailMaster Certification is great for those that want to educate themselves for going off road. The certification is available for anyone, not just members.

Off-Road Park Projects
One major project the non-profit has is to develop an off-road park for all levels of off-roading. We plan to have 3 parks all throughout the state.

Get Trail Badges
While some companies like Jeep off trail badges all across the US, we offer trail badges for all off-roader and focus on just our state of Virginia.
