Holy Land USA in Bedford, Virginia, is a Christian-themed park featuring replicas of biblical scenes and landmarks. (this property is by invite only and there is a small donation of $35+ cash. The cost helps the owner keep the place going.)
Established to provide visitors with a tangible connection to biblical history, it offers a unique spiritual and educational experience.

While Holy Land USA is not an off-road park, Bedford and its surrounding areas offer several off-road trails suitable for various skill levels. There is obstacles for every level of off roader, although it’s mostly geared for those with serious rigs, lifted and larger tires.
The 76-acre park has plenty to offer with a main gravel road that ventures off into unpaved portions of the park where you can put the four high and four low to good use.
A couple of great spots on the property got those wanting to take their rigs and try some boulder climbing with inclines upwards of 40 degrees.
Those with lifts and larger tires as obstacles are not for stock rigs. Trucks and those with longer wheel bases will have a harder time than SUV’s like Bronco and Jeep here.
Take I-81 Exit 150 (toward Bedford/Lynchburg).
Merge onto US-460 East toward Lynchburg.
Proceed to Town of Bedford: You’ll likely travel along US-221 North or VA-122 to navigate into downtown Bedford—routes vary depending on your approach.
From Bedford, local directions (if available) likely guide you to the park—possibly via Jericho Road or another rural route near the area of the old “Holy Land USA” site (1060 Jericho Rd)
Along the way, there is plenty of places to check out like the recreation of Jesus’s Tomb and large cross in the creek, the park is a great spot for groups wanting to do something different than a typical trail run like most of the state offers.
