While Holy Land USA is not an off-road park, Bedford and its surrounding areas offer several off-road trails suitable for various skill levels. There is obstacles for every level of off roader, although it’s mostly geared for those with serious rigs, lifted and larger tires.

The 76-acre park has plenty to offer with a main gravel road that ventures off into unpaved portions of the park where you can put the four high and four low to good use.

A couple of great spots on the property got those wanting to take their rigs and try some boulder climbing with inclines upwards of 40 degrees. Along the way, there is plenty of places to check out like the recreation of Jesus’s Tomb and large cross in the creek, the park is a great spot for groups wanting to do something different than a typical trail run like most of the state offers.

For instance, the Westside Road trail spans 12.2 miles along the western slope of Shenandoah Mountain, offering scenic views and a generally easy dirt path suitable for beginners.

Another option is the Vepco Road trail, an 11.6-mile route that follows a power line, providing both gravel and natural stone terrains, making it accessible for most off-road enthusiasts.
