Dear Virginia Off-Road Family,
We want to take a moment to share something important about who we are and how we operate. Virginia Off-Road is, and always will be, a volunteer-driven organization. No one here takes a salary, and no one ever will. Every hour spent organizing rides, cleaning trails, helping veterans, building educational programs, designing maps, answering messages, or supporting our members is donated out of passion for this community and the land we love.
Unlike large nonprofits with heavy overhead, we’re committed to keeping VAOR’s footprint small, transparent, and rooted right here in the Commonwealth. Our focus will always be on serving the off-road community through real action — restoring trails, protecting access, supporting responsible use, and uplifting the people and families who make this community special.
As we grow, you’ll continue to see more educational tools, more programs, more meetups, more events, and more opportunities to get involved. But you’ll also see the same core values that started all this: community first, stewardship always, fun with purpose, and a shared respect for the trail systems — both public and private — that make off-roading in Virginia so incredible.
