Help us create Off-Road Park’s in Virginia!
Virginia Off-Road, a registered 501c3 is working on a unique project here in the Commonwealth, building an off-road park.
We’re Starting…
We are starting the project with the hopes that we can either raise enough funding for our 1st park or find someone willing to donate land for the purpose.
We ask that you help us make it a reality. Your donation is tax deductible and every cent goes towards the purchase and development of Off-Road Park #1.
Features of an Off-Road Park
All VAOffRoad.org members would have access to the facility and be able to participate in it anytime or year.
Mild to wild
The park would have obstlces for all skills ranges, mild to wild, so there is something for everyone.
Members Only
The Park would be exclusive to only VAOff-Road members that donate annually.
Educational
It would also provide a way for those wanting to educate themselves in off roading, the etiquette and become comfortable with their rigs.
Park #1
In SWVA, roughly 20-30 acres if possible. Goal #1 is $45,000 for the project.
Park #2
In Central VA, roughly 30-60+ acres if possible. Goal #2 is $125,000 for the project.
Park #3
In the Tidewater region of the state, 30 acres roughly. Goal #3 is $65,000.
Virginia Off-Road would like to have 3 Off-Road Parks members would have access too all throughout the year. The first one will be the smallest with a goal of $45,000 for property in the Southwestern region of the state. (Land is much cheaper west of the New River Valley) We believe park 1 will be the size of 20-30 acres.
Park 2 will be larger and in Central Virginia with roughly 50-100 acres if possible and various courses all throughout it. We will launch this project after the 1st one is complete.
Park 3 will will be in the Tidewater region of the Commonwealth and roughly the same size, 50-100+ acres. This is important to the organization as there are not a lot of off roading opportunities in the Tidewater area. We will start this project once the Central Region Park is complete.
Project #1 Property Goal: $45,000
The Plan of Action
We believe that for $45,000 we should be able to get roughly 20-30 acres (or more) of untouched land where we could build Park #1. (If you happen to have property and want to donate it, that will work too)
Beyond that, we will work with volunteers to help create the course with member input, build signage, bathroom/ picnic shelter facilties, a gate and some rules on how to access the property.
SWVA seems to be the best value for land as it’s cheaper in that part of the state, so out first part will be in that section, with the hopes that a second and third park will follow in other regions of Virginia.
As a VAOffRoad.org Member, you will have a vote in where the property will be, the courses we will build, rules, etc.
20-30+ Acres
We would love 20-30+ acres if we can to build a park.
Gate and Signage
We would need a gate with a lock, map and signage throughout.
Various Courses
We believe 8-12 courses should fill up the park.
Facilities
It would be nice to have a picnic shelter, perhaps a bathroom in the future.
Help us Today
Each person that donates will be able to vote on the property location once we hae raised the funding to build the park.
